Barrow Raiders’ unbeaten start to 2022 continued thanks to a superb 34-24 victory away at Widnes Vikings.

In front of the Premier Sports cameras, the Raiders recovered from trailing 12-0 inside the opening 10 minutes to mount a remarkable fightback at the DCBL Stadium.

A double for winger Tee Ritson added to scores from Jarrod Sammut – his first try of the season – and the impressive Hakim Miloudi.

Luke Cresswell and Carl Forster also crossed for the Raiders, who have now won their opening four matches of the Betfred Championship season.

Paul Crarey’s side are next in action on Sunday when they face Cumbrian rivals Workington Town in the Betfred Challenge Cup, live on BBC Sport.
